No. 1 Duke vs. No. 2 Virginia Set for ACC Championship Clash

The ACC Tournament championship is set as No. 1 Duke and No. 2 Virginia will meet Sunday afternoon in Charlotte, North Carolina with the conference title on the line. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Duke advanced to the final after defeating No. 5 Clemson 73–61 in the semifinal. Cameron Boozer led the Blue Devils with 24 points as Duke controlled the game down the stretch to secure its spot in the championship.

Virginia punched its ticket with a dominant 84–62 win over No. 3 Miami. The Cavaliers pulled away early and never looked back, setting up a matchup between the tournament’s top two seeds.

The two programs met once during the regular season, with Duke earning a convincing 77–51 victory over Virginia on Feb. 28. Now, with the ACC title at stake, the Cavaliers will look for a different outcome while the Blue Devils aim to complete the season sweep.
